The chorus is not 'HEY' but 'YEAH'. This is very important. It's an homage to the Beatles song that really created modern rock, 'She loves you, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH'.

To be fair, in demos that Kurt recorded before Nevermind he actually did sing "Hey hey hey" instead of "yeah", this can be seen in the live acoustic solo recording of Lithium on KAOS radio back in 1990.

idatherese, hmmm, “The Perfect Drug”, by NIN, “Rosemary” from Deftones, and as for Tool, I really can’t pick one. Oh, my favorite NIN song is, “The Day The World Went Away”. I love covers of this song each new interpretation of Trent’s work on this song is amazing to see. Especially the one by Will Scrits. I guess that would be my top pick. But you might have to use one or more of the many beautiful instruments behind you to cover the song in your own way. Either way keep up the creativity it’s very enjoyable to experience. Cheers!

Thank you! & welcome to the channel:) To do this plucking pattern, you pluck the strings in this order: 4-3-2-1-4-3-2-1 etc. So you start with the top string and then pluck down towards the bottom string. Hope that helped!
